Rick Johnson 

 

Richard K. Johnson, a founding member of the firm and the managing attorney, practices in the areas of personal and workplace injury and is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois. Prior to founding Johnson Gray, LLC, in 2007, Rick was a State Representative, representing parts of St. Louis and Jefferson County in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2001 – 2007.

 

Rick earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997, distinguishing himself by graduating in the 5% of his class earning Order of Barristers honors and serving on Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English in 1994, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Charleston Southern University while serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy. His naval service included serving onboard nuclear ballistic missile submarines.

 

Rick is a member of the Missouri, Illinois, and U.S. Supreme Court bars. He is also a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and the American Association of Justice. His legal and legislative work has earned him various awards and recognition, including MATA’s Champion of Justice Award and Missouri Watch’s Defender of Patient Safety Award. Rick has also been recognized by the Missouri Judicial Conference for his significant contributions to the advancement of the administration of Justice in the State of Missouri.
